Stripnomics

I have great respect for Rick Santelli.  He is the smartest guy on CNBC and he knows the reality - not just theory. He’s at least 10 times smarter than Steve Liesman, who confuses himself with all the economic THEORIES that he remembers but does not really understand.

Here is a great clip of Rick saying what everyone knows about the mortgage plan. Listen to what the Wolfman (next to Rick) says. He knows that you can’t punish the responsible and reward the irresponsible.

I’m planning on going to the Tea Party. I agree with Santelli whole-heartedly. At some point, I might even stop paying my mortgage. I would do so not as a political protest, but just because it might become the economically optimal decision.

By the way, I later heard Cramer say that he does not agree with Rick.  It figures.
